David Hirsch
David Hirsch received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in family and child development and his master’s degree from the University of South Florida in rehabilitation counseling. He brings extensive rehabilitation, workforce development, and retail leadership experience based upon over 40 years with nationally recognized nonprofits.
Dave’s experience includes over 16 years with Goodwill industries both in Sarasota, Florida, and Tucson, Arizona, where he served as a Division Director and Chief Operating Officer, respectively, and 9 years senior leadership experience with a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare organization. Both Goodwill’s rank among leaders within Goodwill Industries for their programs and services while the Sarasota Goodwill is the leader amongst all Goodwill’s in terms of market share.
Dave has been President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northern Arizona since 2004 during which time it has grown from $1.6 million to just under $10 million with 15 locations and over 250 team members on payroll.
Dave and wife Patty, a special education teacher, have three children…Chelsea, Tom, and Rebecca.
