Richard Baron is the author of Streamline – Your Path to Government Efficiency Starts Here, www.StreamlineGovt.com. Written as a business novel, Streamline allows the reader to learn Lean and Process Improvement alongside the fictional book characters.
He has facilitated workshops at national conventions for ICMA (International City/County Management Association) and the Alliance for Innovation, and taught at the Certified Public Manager program at the Bob Ramsey School of Executive Education at Arizona State University.
Richard is employed as an Information Technology Process & Project Coordinator for Coconino County in Arizona, where he leads the process improvement efforts for the county, and started the Lean Government committee. Previously, he was a consultant for the Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership, a nationwide organization providing Lean consultation to manufacturers.
Richard holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Acuity Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
