Kate Morley

Kate Morley is the Development Director for Mountain Line. Originally from Flagstaff, AZ, she obtained her Masters of Science in Planning with a focus in Environmental and Healthy Communities from the University of Arizona in 2010. Kate's work has revolved around healthy communities for most of her career. While the activities Director at the Academy of the Sierras, a boarding school for overweight teens, Kate helped students find walking and biking routes in their hometowns. Kate returned to school get her Masters, inspired by the need for better active transportation opportunities. While working as a planner for Coconino County, Kate continued to foster healthy communities through the creation of new urban agriculture standards that allow for more homegrown food and community gardens. Kate is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a fellow of the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy.
